Jeremy Clarkson causing controversy is nothing new and this time he has upset the masses (on twitter) for his Game of Thrones referenced article regarding Meghan Markle , Duchess of Sussex.

As you can imagine this has caused a bit of controversy with people like Carol Vorderman tweeting "NO Jeremy Clarkson. Not on any level, in any circumstance, is it ok to write this stuff about any woman & absolutely NO.."
Writer Philip Pullman commented "That Jeremy Clarkson can write things like that, and publish them unashamed, tells us all we need to know about the way Rupert Murdoch has poisoned and rotted our public life."
Even his own daughter called him out on it em_clarkson posted the following

On the flip side Piers Morgan Commented "Imagine if all those screaming with rage about Jeremy Clarkson felt the same protective anger towards those who’ve branded our Royal Family callous lying racist bullies - without producing any actual evidence for these cruel allegations?"
The reference he makes is not something he has made up its a reference from the very popular series game of thrones when Cersai Lannister has to perform a walk of atonement which is a public ritual of punishment and penance. It demands a confessed sinner to walk a certain distance stripped of all clothing, exposed to the eyes and jeers of the population.
It was a scene enjoyed by many watching the show feeling Cersai got what she deserved after being one of the most revered characters in the show.
I wonder if the same people complaining now watched Games of thrones or not? And if they did how they felt about that scene with that character at the time. Certainly to me it seems that a lot of people haven’t spotted the reference and have gone off the literal wording.
Well probably nothing Clarkson himself has said he was "Horrified to have caused so much hurt" which hasn't been met with positive reaction from those wanting an apology. Let’s face it though what is an apology going to do it never calms the twitter masses vying for blood so really it's a waste of time.
Some MPs are getting involved (for some reason) saying the Sun who printed the piece should take action on Carkson... I mean they printed it so not sure what action they are going to take. Surely MPs should be concentrating on fixing the shambles of an economy rather than celeb newspaper comments.
Regardless this writer cannot wait for Clarksons Farm season 2 out in Feb! Unless it gets cancelled…
